Description
Join us in our woodland to learn the ancient art of charcoal making using an oil drum. After preparing the burn enjoy a campfire whilst waiting for the finished product later in the day. You will be able to take a sack of your handmade product away with you to use at home. This type of sustainable coppiced hardwood charcoal is far superior to the shop bought softwood bbq charcoal burning hotter and does not require any chemical firelighters. Bring something to cook on the campfire for lunch or a picnic. Hot drinks available throughout the day.
Private bookings available by appointment or join a small group (min 4) to learn how to make charcoal.
